Different Types of Air Compressors and their Use

Air compressors are compressors which will captures air and will increase the amount of air on a certain space in an atmospheric pressure and will deliver it at high pressures. Through contracting the air that's inside, air pressure will be increased, which then creates energy which is useful for different manufacturing, industrial, personal or commercial use.

Air compressors are actually used not only for pumping tires. These kind of tools also will power nail guns, spray guns and other kind of tools and machinery. These kind of machines are like human lungs. An example of it is like taking a deep breath in blowing out candles where you are increasing air pressure in your lungs. Also, air compressors use the force of air in producing energy for different equipments.

Piston Compressors

These kind of compressors comes with built-in tanks that stores compressed air. The motor usually shuts down if the pressure in the tank will cross a certain set level. As the air is being used in setting up from the tank, the pressure inside will fall down and the motor will start rebuilding the pressure again. The specified pressure setting could be adjusted on the requirements of the operator.

Types of Piston Compressors:

Sing-Stage Compressors

Such piston type compressors comes only with one piston which compress and release air to its in-built storage tank. The single-stage compressors are mostly being used by home users that has a maximum of 150 pounds of pressure for per square inch. this is meant essentially for the light-duty compressors. see Plate Compactor for Sale

Two Stage Compressors

These kind of compressors have two pistons which will compress and release air to the storage tank. The first piston will compress the air and will pass it to the second piston through a check valve and the second will compress air and deliver it to the storage tank.

Compact Air Compressor

Unlike the piston compressor, the compact compressor is considered the smallest and is also the lightest one. These kind of compressors will not store air because it doesn't have an inbuilt storage tank and also runs continuously in order to supply air. These are mostly being used in glue guns and also for small spray guns. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Compressed_air

Depending with the type you choose, it could be used in different ways. This could be used in compressing air in order to alter the chemical composition during making fertilizers or could be used in maintaining industrial plants and machinery. One common use of it is for spray guns, staplers, sanders and nail guns. Looking for a generator for sale?
